How to Invest in GMRGold IRA?Step-by-step guide for investing in GMRGold IRA
Time needed: 15 days
To invest in a precious metals IRA through American Precious Metals Inc., here are the general steps:
Open a Self-Directed IRA
Select an IRA company that handles opening precious metals IRA accounts and fill out an application. You can work with GMRGold to recommend an IRA company and provide the necessary paperwork. However, I don’t recommend doing so.
Fund Your IRA
Once you have selected an IRA company, you can move your funds into your new IRA account. You can work with the IRA company representative to transfer or rollover funds into the new account.
Select a Precious Metals Dealer
One of the forms you need to fill out along the way is typically called a Buy Direction Letter. This is where you list the precious metals dealer you have selected, such as GMRGold.
Decide Which Precious Metals to Purchase
You can choose to invest in gold, silver, platinum, or palladium for your IRA. There are some restrictions regarding fineness requirements and allowable coin types, so it’s important to get guidance from GMRGold in this area.
Place Your Order
Once the funds are available in your IRA account, you can call them to place your order for the desired precious metals.
However, I don’t recommend opening an IRA with them. Why? Because there are plenty of better options available for you.

GMRGold Shipping Options
A customer may qualify for free shipping on any order that exceeds $75. You may easily exceed this if you wish to add a lot of gold or other metals to your assets.
Some of the gold coins that are available can cost you $1,000 on their own. The current price of gold and other precious metals can be seen at the bottom of the website.
You will be able to check if the value has increased that day. This might help you determine whether you’re receiving a good deal in relation to the market and present conditions.
Minimum Order Total
When dealing with GMRgold, there is no set minimum order amount. If you place an order for less than $75, you will only be charged a flat-rate shipping fee of $9.95.
Orders placed worldwide must be accompanied by a credit card payment of at least $250. If you use a bank wire, the sum can be increased to $1,500.

Is GMRGold Legit? Should You Invest With Them?Is GMRGold a scam or legit? Are they worth it?
No, I don’t think you should invest with them.
Decent product selection
Not a BBB-accredited business
Lack of information about its management team and ownership
Received many complaints for poor customer service
While it’s true that GMRGold is reputable and has a good online reputation, they have also received numerous complaints online.
GMRGold is a trustworthy company, but we do not recommend them. Why? Because there are plenty of companies in the industry with more specialization in gold IRAs. They are not the best option for individual gold purchases and certainly not for investors looking to secure their funds with a precious metals IRA.
Each state has its own regulations and rules, so we’ve sorted and found the best Gold IRA company for each state.
